Social enterprises are waking up to the fact that in order to deliver on the hopes and aspirations of their communities, they need to understand and deliver the principles of business.

How can I help?

Achieving success in social enterprise is not only measured in terms of community engagement, but also in terms of funding and finance.

Business mentoring and advice  plays a key role in ensuring a social enterprise communicates its values, delivers on its brand promises and sustains itself for the long term needs of the community it serves. Social enterprises often neglect those aspects of business that have often been shrouded in mystery, such as branding, franchising and Business modelling which can appear to be a waste of resource.

The social enterprise sector is one of the most dynamic and  fastest growing business sectors at the present time. I have had the great privilege to work within this arena since it's very early days.

20 years ago I was trained by social enterprise London as one of their first business advisors and have continued to work in the sector ever since.

I offer business advice, coaching and mentoring to senior staff within the sector as well as acting as a non exec director  both paid and unpaid as required .I can also advise on social enterprise start up strategies and support advisory boards with my specialist areas of business support .

I have a specialist understanding of branding and licencing as well as business growth models tailored to the development of social business and actively engaged as an advisor currently with a number of CIC s in both London and the regions.

“It has been such a joy and privilege to be mentored by Yvonne. She has a beautiful approach that combines her wealth of knowledge and expertise in the business world, alongside her deep spiritual practices. It is no surprise to me that Yvonne has been ordained by world renowned peace teacher and monk Thich Nhat Hahn.

She is an embodiment of all that she shares and is a remarkable and inspiring person. Yvonne has a particular skill that helps you turn your biggest challenges into your greatest teachers and she has been such a strong source of support through times I felt I could no longer continue with all that I needed to do within the organisation.

She has been a true gift to my life and to everybody whom she works with. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world Yvonne. I am eternally grateful to have you as a mentor, teacher and now, a dear friend.”
